Rosemount™ 628 Universal Gas Sensor

The Rosemount 628 series of electrochemical toxic gas sensors provide high specificity, fast response, and long life.

All Rosemount 628 series sensors are compatible with the Rosemount 928 Wireless Gas Monitor.

The electrochemical sensor cell incorporates the industry-standard technology

that is used in conventional wired detectors to bring consistent toxic gas sensing to challenging and remote locations.

Gas sensor types include hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxygen depletion (O₂).

H₂S: -40 °F to +122 °F (-40 °C to +50 °C )
O₂ Depletion: -22 °F to +122 °F (-30 °C to +50 °C)
CO: -22 °F to +122 °F (-30 °C to +50 °C)

Accuracy

H₂S: ±3 ppm or 10% of reading, whichever is greater
O₂ Depletion: Within ±0.5% of oxygen content of supply gas
CO: ±6 ppm or 10% of reading, whichever is greater

Time Constant / Response

H₂S: T90 < 45 seconds
O₂ Depletion: T90 < 15 seconds
CO: T90 < 29 seconds

Detection Range

H₂S: Gas Concentration Level 0-100 ppm range
O₂ Depletion: Gas Concentration Level 0-25% by volume
CO: Gas Concentration Level 0-1,000 ppm range
